Apologies but our website is currently under construction

If you are reading this page because your baby/babies have died, whether recently or long ago, we would like to offer our sincere condolences. Every volunteer at Bristol Sands is a bereaved parent. We understand the feelings you may be facing. Parents’ experiences are unique but the death of a much-loved baby can bring an overwhelming grief that is deeper and lasts much longer than other people realise. Many parents say that they never knew it was possible to feel such sadness, and that their lives are shattered.

We are a local group of volunteers offering help and support to bereaved parents and their families, who have suffered the death of a baby before, during, or after birth. We are a self-funding group. Support is free of charge and open to all bereaved parents whatever the circumstances of your baby’s death.

We hold monthly support meetings at Bedminster Library, 4 St Peters Court Bedminster Parade, Bristol BS3 4AQ:

Bereavement Support

1st Thursday of every month, 8pm

An opportunity to talk about the loss of your baby(ies) and to seek support from our
Befrienders as well as other parents on a similar journey to you.

Pregnant Again Support

1st Tuesday of every month, 8pm

We know a subsequent pregnancy can be a very frightening time so we offer these meetings to talk about any
concerns or worries you may have. Alternate months will also be midwife led.
